A Lovely Day

Sadly this day will not seem to be a lovely or beautiful day for many because they have allowed themself to become prisoners of a mindset that tells them they are victims with no choice, but to accept that life is a tragic tale of constant woe and misery. Bad things happen to all of us, yet we do not have to let them sour our mindset or keep us from enjoying this lovely day.

Another quote from my daily pep-talk to myself goes: “This is the day that the LORD and I have made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Some other encouraging words come to mind at this point: “Lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge the LORD and he will direct your path.”

Enjoy this lovely day and in the words of Mark Twain in today’s picture quote above, give it a chance to become the most beautiful day of your life.
