Hey Good Looking, You’re Beautiful, You Are So Beautiful
One of the nasty and hateful voices that my wife, other women and even men especially as they age hear and listen to is forever trying to convince her that she is no longer pretty. I believe that lying you know what is none other than ego, he/she goes by several other names as well as Satan, the Devil, and the Father of all Lies.
To quote the lyrics of a favorite western song that I heard and loved as a boy, “Don’t you listen to him, Man (Woman or Child) he’s a devil not a man and he spreads the burning sand with water, cool clear water.” Ego that great deceiver and discourager is forever trying to have us believe his/her lies and illusions to hurt us and torment us.
Three of my favorite karaoke sing-a-long songs to sing are listed in today’s title and I have provided links to them below. I hope to add my voice with encouraging words to those that would remind my wife, all you lovely ladies, and you handsome gents as well that no matter what any one else says, especially that Lord of Liars, ego, that you are indeed beautiful.
