An Idea Whose Time Has Come

Here’s an idea, instead of making America Grape Again how about we replace all the nonsense that seems to have taken over our country and the world with logic. As a long time fan of most all things Star Trek, I think if we have any chance of living long and prospering, to use Mr. Spock’s favorite salutation, that we first have to Make America Logical Again.

In my opinion, and it is just that – you are entitled to your own, we as a country have allowed a con-man, a loser, and a felon to beguile us with promises that he most assuredly to anyone using logic has no intention and never has of keeping. Instead of bringing prices down Mr. T (and I apologize to the A-Team member of that same name) seems hell bent on destroying the economy with foolish tariffs and the government with layoffs and shutting down critical services and safety nets so that he can keep the trillions of dollars in tax cuts to the super rich that he pushed forward in his first term.

If Mr. Spock were a real life character he would indeed be using his other favorite phrase, “That is illogical.” Oh, and by the way the Make America Grape Again line above was not a typo, but intended to parody the line that Mr. Trump originally co-opted from another popular President who though himself also wholly-owned by big business had a lot more class and even a bit more compassion. President Ronald Reagan was conservative to a fault, but he believed and supported the Constitution which more than any one thing has made and kept America great all these years. The way Donald John Trump uses the phrase MAGA it has always meant Make America White Again.

Justin Timberlake some years ago said he was going to bring back sexy. I implore every especially all you Mr. Spock fans to help us bring back logic.
