Day Break

I just arrived at our Bon Wier, Texas property and it is day break and a bit foggy. As I contemplate spending the last years of my life mostly here in the East Texas Piney Woods, I thrill at each opportunity that I get to see it in every light and in every weather possibility.

Day Break and Gloaming are especially magical times in the woods.

Waking-up and settling down for a restful night’s sleep are the highs and lows of our day. Both “the bright blessed day” and “the dark sacred night” are magical times as are all the magic moments in between.

The lines to another lovely song come to mind, “And it’s day break, you better believe, in can be day break, and it’s day break all around the world.”

Have a wonderful day and enjoy this wonder-full world.
