Junk
The saying goes, “One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.” I was up in the attic this morning looking for toys that thirty something years ago were new when we gave to our toddler at the time, Jonathan (Jay.) I figured my sixteen month old granddaughter Emma Grace might get some use out of them before they end up in Jay’s attic, garage, or in a yard sale as “junk in the yard.”
Paul McCartney’s hauntingly beautiful song “Junk” came to mind. I will attach a link to it at the end of this relatively short blog for “a wordy guy.”
Just one other thing about junk. A little child was quoted saying one of those great truths of wisdom that often come out of the mouth of babes. She said, “God don’t make junk.” That’s right, Child, everyone is of infinite value to the One who made us all in His/Her own image.
