Life Goes On
It is a great encouragement to realize that though there are set backs, disappointments, and outcomes that at times seem unbearable that life finds a work around, a ray of hope, and the strength to stand and to go on.
My standard reply when anyone asks, “How are you doing?” is “Fine and dandy.” I am not just being glib because “no matter what” that is the default state that I have chosen. I am not a half cup empty or even a half cup full sort of guy, but like the Psalmist David I am a “my cup runneth over” kind of guy.
King David knew his share of disappointments, losses, and scary moments, but he knew a secret that each and every one of us can be privy to. David knew that he was not alone, that he was loved, that he had a loving and infinite source and an unlimited and powerful resource. One is never poor, weak, nor defeated who has resources.
Greater is the He/She/We that is in you than the whole world that may at times seem out to get you.
Life has a way of finding a way when the way seems blocked or at an end. Just hold on and be assured and encouraged that life goes on no matter what.
