The Cursed How(s), When(s), Where(s), and With Whom(s)

According to my friend Mike Dooley, author of Notes From The Universe, we short-circuit or at the very least severely limit the Intention or Manifestation Process when we attempt to micromanage the details of how, when, where, and with whom we visualize our requests being granted or manifested. Now that was quite a mouth or sentence full so let me break that down.

When we visualize what we want to happen in our lives we should focus on What we want, the end result, and leave the other three W(s) and H up to the Universe to fill in trusting that our higher best self knows how, when, where, and with whom to best fulfill all our dreams and desires.

As an example when we say or think things like I could never be happy with anyone other than Dick or Jane we have put a severe restriction on that intention, request, or wish being granted or manifested in our life. What if Dick or Jane has other plans? Do we really believe our loving and infinite source who is also theirs would force them to play a role in our lives that they were unwilling to fulfill.

Not just an insistence on “with whom” can stymie our intentions, but also an insistence on when and where. These details are best left up to the Universe who from infinite possibilities and variations can better work things out for our good. I believe that is a truest understanding of the Bible verse “All things work together for good” rather than the obvious error of thinking it means that no “bad” or disappointing things will ever happen to us.

I sincerely believe that the words that came to me some years ago were inspired, “I am so glad and grateful that everything that I could ever want or need is already mine and coming to me at just the right time and in just the right way from my loving and infinite source.” I also believe that we all have equal access to the same loving and infinite source. All we have to do is to figure out What we want and visualize that as a done deal leaving all the details of how, when, where and with whom up to our loving and infinite source.

It kind of reminds me of the old Greyhound commercial that said, “Leave the driving to us.” As a child I thought Gus was the name of the bus driver, much like the dad in the movie The Stupids thought the black maintenance man in the auditorium where he had prayed to ask God for directions was God because the name on his uniform was Howard. You know, the Lord’s Prayer, “Howard be thy name.”

Whether you call your loving and infinite source, Gus, Howard or some other name, leave the driving and the details, the cursed how(s), when(s), where(s), and with whom(s) up to more capable hands, and watch amazed and forever glad and grateful as all your intentions, dreams, and desires manifest before your very eyes.

It is not just a promise it is a law.
