The Super Moon
This morning as I road my bike there was the most beautiful full moon. I always think of Josh Groban singing The Moon’s A Harsh Mistress when I see a full moon., “See her as she flies, golden sails across the skies, close enough to touch, but careful if you try.”
For centuries mankind dreamed of going to the moon and in July of 1969 we made it. We are making plans to go back again and other countries are planning excursions also. Someday soon we may have people living there and from there launching out to see other worlds and to explore the vastness of space.
Reaching for the moon is something many of us did as children and still do. Someday I would like to see the far side of the moon. I believe it is good to keep a few goals that seem a little out of reach so that we can stretch ourselves.
