The Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine

We are most familiar with the side of our brain that we favor most. The right side of our brain is sometimes referred to as the logical or rational side and the left side the intuitive or emotional. Generally, men think they are rational and that women are emotional as if one of these were superior to another. In reality both men and women think out of both sides of their brains though as individuals we may indeed favor one side over the other, yet to do so limits us not only thinking clearly but and also limit us socially.

A term we hear often is “Thinking outside of the box” which means thinking creatively. That is what left-side brain thinking is all about. As much as our emotions can present certain pitfalls rational thinking also has its traps. Sometimes life just does not make sense. Even in mathematics there are paradoxes that just cannot be explained away with a slide rule or calculator.

Many scientists reject religious faith while at the same time they base much of their own reasoning on unproven theories which seems to an outsider just another type of religion.

But back to the divine masculine and the divine feminine, why the divide, or the war between the sexes, we were always meant to be one. We have in our heads and hearts a desire to be one, the urge to merge. Some individuals find in themselves this oneness and are content to live out these adventures in time and space without a partner. The majority of us are co-dependent and chose to partner up with someone who helps us see our better half and live more complete and whole lives.

I believe our Male-Dominated society has erred in relegating women to second class citizenship. The divine feminine should always have been worshipped equally with the divine masculine and had not the record been tampered with by men promoting their own agenda it would have been all along.

This November we in this country have an opportunity to take a step in the right direction and choose what many great nations have already chosen, to put a woman at the head of government. Some say that women will decide the election, others say the young people, or this group or that, but I hope a lot of dudes who think out of both sides of their brains will be a big part of that decision. I intend to be.
