The Walking Man Walks
Much as I love riding my bike and feeling like I am flying through the air creating my on breeze, I do also enjoy a good walk. I have parked my bike and been walking the thirty or so minutes each morning instead. Walking is also a good opportunity to stretch out and improve my posture as well. As the quote above says it is also a good way to find inspiration.
The last three morning I have added weight to my walk, two five pound dumbbells, one in each hand, so I can give my arms and chest a little work out while my legs and back are getting one. It is considerably more exhausting than just a thirty-minute walk by itself, yet I can already see the difference in my arms, chest, and in my stamina.
As I was thinking of what I might write to you about this morning one of my favorite James Taylor songs came to mind. I have sung it so many times along with James that I feel like it is my song as well. There is a link below to my karaoke version of it.
“Walk on, Walking Man.”
