The Momentum Has Changed

I believe that there was a moment when all was lost for the Democratic Presidential race, when it appeared that Joe Biden was indeed no longer up to the race. It seemed like even God Almighty could not convince him otherwise. But in the end he kept the promise that he made when he ran in 2020 to save us from Donald Trump. He thought he could do it one more time. As it turns out he won the primaries and the nomination for the woman that he chose to be his running mate. The torch has indeed been passed to a younger generation.

My son and many of you believe that this race like most of the Presidential races in recent history is going to be close. I think not. I believe that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz will win over Donald Trump and JD Vance in November by such a wide margin in the popular vote and the electoral count that there will be no question what the overwhelmingly will of the people is this time. We are not going back but forward into a brighter better future.

Could I be wrong? Of course, I could and I have be often enough that I have no problem conceding that fact as a certain former President certainly seems to have conceding. I think even he will be forced to this time if he doesn’t find some reason to quit prior to November to spare himself the humiliation of yet another loss.

He is a sad and bitter old man unable to admit to himself that not only did he lose last time but that the momentum once in his favor has indeed changed. The lies of the past are finally catching up to him. Even his most devoted fans are beginning to see cracks in his armor and his poor choice of a Vice Presidential candidate in JD Vance and rambling nonsensical rants of late have made even his base begin to question the viability of this his last campaign.

I am encouraged to think that by this time next year that the media and even the Republican Party will have to find something other than Donald Trump to talk about.
