Even the Post Office Was Closed Yesterday

In addition to power outages due to high winds and stormy conditions in and around Houston, Texas on Thursday afternoon I have had very limited cell service and so I was unable to post a blog on Friday. I have for over nine years never experienced such a lapse before. Did you miss me or think I had died?

I still have some limited function on my cell phone so it remains to be seen if I can really post this. But I did want to give it a try to let my friends and fans know that I am still here and intending yet to make it to my goal of ten thousand blogs. Hopefully the power will be back on soon and my phone will again have all its functions. All the best to you and yours from me and mine.
