According to today’s song and the wise and often astute council of Yogi Berra, instead of agonizing over the choice before us till agony becomes our heaviest load, when faced with a fork in the road, we should just take it because every choice is worth our while. The theory of multiple universes is that in each of those universes is played out the different choices that we have made that have brought us to this particular moment.

It is said that one of the greatest qualities in a leader is the ability to make a quick decision. I have read that success in business or any undertaking is about making a lot of mistakes and learning from them fast which puts us ahead of the curve and of the pack. Too many people and businesses become paralyzed when facing a choice and just stand still. Often as not winning the battle or the race is dependent upon our ability to keeping moving forward, making the hard choices. Sometimes we must make a choice without all the information, make a few mistakes and move on.

The chorus of the Indigo Girls song says it best – Every choice is worth your while.
