I’ve Got The World On A String

I have noticed that my blog gets fewer views on Saturdays and Sundays so in an effort to remedy that I intend to publish two days of Sinatra “I’ve Got” songs. In a world where so many people only want to talk about what they have not got I think we should count our blessings. The Law of Attraction says what we think about and talk about is what comes to us.

Today’s song reminds me of one of the more positive prophetic utterances of the Old Testament that has the Lord saying, “Prove me if I will not open up the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that there is not room enough to receive.”

I received such a blessing some years ago in a few choice words that just came to me. I repeat them to myself and share them as often as I can:

“I am so glad and grateful that every thing I could ever want is already mine and coming to me at just the right time and in just the right way from my loving and infinite source.”

You might ask why my standard reply to the question “How are you?” is “Fine and dandy.” The reason is: I’ve got the world on a string.

Time was I felt like the whole weight of the world was on top of me. It feels so much better to be on top of the world. Try it for yourself, think and talk about what you want and not what you don’t want. It will soon amaze you how much you’ve got.
