Fool Hearted Memory

Happy Valentine’s Day, Everyone. The song that came up for today is one of George Straight more popular songs. It is about a man who just cannot seem to let go and move on. One of my favorite lines in the song is:

“She was his girl, his only world,

That string of pearls that slipped away.”

If you have as the song says “played by the rules and didn’t win” you can understand this poor fool hearted man’s behavior at least a little. Many just get stuck and give up on love and on life.

But out there beyond the horizon there is more. The great secret to finding love again is allowing yourself to believe it is possible. Keep your heart and mind, your arms and hands, your mouth, nose, ears and eyes open to the possibilities,
