All I Have To Do Is Dream

As a boy, I dreamed of Christmas year round. For as long as I can remember it has been for me as the song says “The most wonderful time of the year.” Around the world there are far more people who do not celebrate Christmas than do, but even apart from the religious observance Christmas is special time for many folks, a time of sharing and caring with family and friends, and a time of making children’s dreams come true.

This year is Emma Grace White’s first Christmas and though she will not remember it there are lots of pictures that she will see again and again to prove that she was dressed for the occasion.

“Someday some boy will write in your book too, ‘Roses are red, my Love, violets are blue, sugar is sweet, my Love, but not as sweet as you.’” For the time being be content to know that you are like a vision of sugar plums dancing in our heads. Sweet dreams, little angel.
