A Wrinkle In Time – Chapter 4

It looks like I should complete the remaining readings in my David Reads Children’s Books project before the years is out. After A Wrinkle In Time there are several American Girls books and then I conclude with a couple more small books for younger children. I have an American Girl Bitty Baby to give my new granddaughter Emma for her first Christmas.

See isn’t much bigger than the doll at this point but it will be there waiting for her when she is ready to play with it and also as a constant reminder throughout her life that her Grandpa White loves her.

The American Girl books and dolls have been quite popular and I am glad and grateful that I get to give Emma a taste of both for her first Christmas.

Thirty-three years ago Emma’s Grandma White and I celebrated her daddy’s first Christmas. We still have a little ornament that hung on Baby Jay’s first Christmas tree.

They grow so fast. Next week Emma will celebrate her First Thanksgiving and the day before I will celebrate my first birthday as a grandpa, my seventy-third. It has been but a wrinkle in time with so much to be thankful for and now for you too little one.
