The Bear Went Over The Mountain & Mary Had A Little Lamb
Someday I hope my granddaughter will hear her Grandpa White singing these songs for her and that she will smile knowing how dearly she is loved and has been from the very beginning of her adventure in space and time.

Emma is at the beginning of her adventure, barely three months, while in twelve days I will celebrate seventy-three years. How many more years I will be here I have no idea, yet I hope to see Emma Grace walking, talking, singing, dancing, and sharing her dreams.
Music has been a great part of my life and these children’s song’s were my first introduction to music many years ago. A couple of weeks ago I gave my Santa suit to my son Jay. It is his turn to play Santa for his child. The first time I put on a Santa suite was for a children’s church celebration of Christmas in July in 1975. It was a hot Sunday in Houston and I had a ball entertaining the children and adults that day.
Over the years I have worn several Santa suites. The one I gave my son was only worn twice, my two farewell performances in the role.
I kept my clown make-up, wigs, and outfits and hope I have a few more birthdays parties in me. I know some people are afraid of clowns, but I happen to believe like the song says, “There ought to be clowns.”
Your friend and fellow traveler,
David White
