Charlotte’s Web – Chapter 13
Per Charlotte’s Web today Wilbur goes from “Some Pig” to “Terrific” and Zuckerman rewards his terrific pig with fresh straw daily and plans to show him off at the county fair in September.
Charlotte aided by Templeton has planned for the next word to be “Radiant” from a soap box advertisement. Even Wilbur says he is beginning to feel radiant.
Such is the power of love that when someone cares enough to see the highest and best in us that we begin to feel and to see it too. For as a lover once wrote to his beloved friends, “We have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellency might be of God.” We are, I believe, even the least of us, a measure that is meaningless in this context, all divinity in disguise and worthy of the greeting Namaste which literally means, “I bow to the deity in you.”
That is what love is after all – seeing through the disguise to the terrific, the radiant, the divine within us all and everything – One Love echoed in my daily mantra phrase: “I mirror you, I admire you, I worship you.”
