Mr. Brown Washes His Underwear

Sometimes the sought-after reaction to a pun can be a groan or a laugh. Today’s Noodle Tale is like that. You can tell by my reading of it that sometimes jokes, puns, and life itself can also leave us hanging somewhere between a laugh and a groan, speechless.

Like Mr. Brown we have all allowed ourselves to be startled by details we have misplaced or forgotten and been left chuckling, frowning, or just speechless. This silly joke comes to mind: “What is Life? It’s a magazine. How much does it cost? Two bucks. That’s too much. That’s life. What is Life?…”
