The Browns Take A Day Off
Today’s “Noodle Tale” reminds me of a line in one of my favorite songs, “Everything” made famous by crooner Michael Buble. The line goes, “You’re a swimming pool on an August day, you’re the perfect thing to say.”
I guess for over eight years now that is what I have been trying to do with this blog – find “The perfect thing to say.” It is to me the goal of all writers, speakers, singer songwriters, and teachers, verified or self-appointed.
Too often we feel like a swimming pool on an August day without water. But then like a spring bubbling up within us comes inspiration, the perfect thing to say.
You, my reader, will be the judge of whether and how often, if ever, I hit that high mark. I will be here, swinging for the bleachers, for as long as I can.
