From rain to rainbows
I especially like this little book because I love rain and rainbows. One, I think, cannot truly appreciate life if they see everyone and everything through a “good versus bad” lens but till we learn to see the good in all. The creator after making all there is said, “It is good.” The false man-made god Ego convinced the man and women in the garden story to eat the forbidden fruit which promised to give them the knowledge of good and of evil. There is an expression I first heard in childhood, “Who died and made you god (or judge.)
This judging everything as either good or evil is a problem. We should try to see the good in all things. This is your adventure to live and experience as you choose. Rain and rainbows as the book says are only temporary and come and go throughout life. Why limit our joy and happiness to one or the other when both have much to recommend them. Most everyone loves a sunny day and a rainbow but it is equally plausible and pleasing to enjoy a rainy day and to love the rainy night.
