Llama Llama Gram and Grandpa

As I was considered what I might write to go with this second Dolly Parton Imagination Library book I got a text from my son Jay saying that baby girl had decided to make an early appearance and that he had Lauren were at the hospital and that he would keep us informed. Wow, Llama Llama Mama we’re about to be a Gram and Grandpa.

My daddy died at seventy three and my mother at sixty nine. This year my wife and I both turn seventy three we were beginning to wonder if we would ever get to be grandparents when this year began. Earlier in the year Jay and Lauren informed us that they were expecting a baby girl due to arrive September first. We just saw them last Sunday at a dinner for my wife Linda’s birthday. Lauren was saying she hoped baby girl came early.

Prayers, wishes, and the highest and best intentions do come true. I am thinking of a song title, “Got A Date With An Angel.” I can hardly wait to see her little face through the hospital nursery window.
