The Wheels On The Bus

I love the cover of today’s children’s book, what a diverse and friendly looking group. What we believe matters not just to us but to others as well. Many of our more childish beliefs we soon outgrow. I happen to believe that diversity and friendliness are two we should hold on to for life.

It does not help when we see our leaders in government unable to cooperate and get along. Just because we do not agree on everything does not mean we cannot be kind. A phrase I say aloud to myself everyday goes, “I am healthy, I am happy, I am whole. I am patient, I am persistent, but above all I am kind.”

We are all, after all, in the same boat, or rather on the same bus. On this bus no one is forced to sit in back, but kindly encouraged to take a front row seat. The wheels on the bus go round and round all day long.
