The Three Bears

Take two in Two-Minute Fairy Tales is another classic tale. This one is about a little girl named Goldilocks and a family of three bears. It is a cautionary tale about a very picky little girl whose failure to respect other’s property and privacy rights gets herself into quite a jam.

Someone has said that doors and locks are only to keep honest people out. I recall in an orientation’s about barracks life a sergeant telling a bunch of new recruits to not leave their wallets and watches on their beds when they showered. His exact words were, “Do not tempt your brothers.”

The cozy little bear cottage with three of every thing including three delicious smelling bowls of porridge and three inviting beds must have been quite tempting to a curious little girl. The story does not say, but I wonder if after the incident the bears started locking their doors when the went for walks?
