Strawberries Kisses
Fresh, in jelly, jam, and preserves, strawberries are one of favorite tastes. Today’s children book reading and song attachment both extoll nature’s tasty treat. The first strawberry reminds us of our first taste of love.
“Today while the blossoms still cling to the vine, I’ll taste your strawberry and I’ll drink your sweet wine” says the poet/singer and I am reminded of the momentary and eternal nature of both the strawberry and of love. This is the eternal moment right now, ours to savor and enjoy.
