Love Makes You Real
Today I read for you one of my favorite children’s books, The Velveteen Rabbit. Its lesson that love makes you real is a lesson I believe we all learn eventually. More than silver or gold or money untold love is the treasure we all want to hold.
As I think of this lesson a song comes to mind about a strange enchanted nature boy who phrases this lesson in a few other well-chosen words: “The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.” That is Who and Whose we all truly are
And so ends the lesson.
