I Love Music

I heard the Universe whisper to me the other day, the Universe’s whispers are louder than most peoples shouts:

“The more you do the more avenues I have to bring good things to you.”

Perhaps that is a least part of the meaning of an old Bible verse that pops into my head from time to time, “Whatsoever your hands find to do, do it with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.” I give the Bible worshippers a hard time from time to time, heaven knows I used to be one. There are a lot of great words in that book as there are in all books and some just plain incorrect stuff too. Someone has said of their own words, “Just pick the ones that are easy to chew and spit out the rest.” That is true of my words or anyone else’s. Music like Mary Poppins’ “spoonful of sugar” often helps “the medicine go down.” I love music.

More than two years ago I started this blog. A little over two months ago I started publishing a Daily Mockingbird Song to most of the folks that I have an email address for, those that I think might have an ear to hear it. I have added a few and some have asked me to take them off my list. I did so immediately. I am always looking for more people to read my blog and hear my songs. I am just trying in my small way to do all I can do to pass on a whisper that I have heard and hear often for me and for you. Say it or sing it in a thousand ways it is still, “I love you.”
