The Mythical Fault Line Between Us

In one of my favorite songs called, “A Boy On The Bridge” There are lots of great lines, two of which are, “And the myth of isolation doesn’t move you anymore. Connect the dots and see the constellations standing out on the reservoir.” Isolation is a myth and there is no a fault line between us for we are One. It is a great and wonderful revelation to me that all that ever divided me from God, my true higher self, or anyone is a myth made up by the self created enemy of my soul, puny little ego, who masquerades as the Lord of Darkness puffed up pretending almost if not complete equality with God. Believe me, he/she is not but only a pips-weak pretender to the throne of our mind and heart. Only One could ever deserve or have that place and that is our true higher self – God, the Universe or whatever name you choose to call the Lover, the magnificent Same/Other.

I was writing to a friend the other day about our sister, the weather maker, I call her Stormy, like Dean Koontz novel hero Odd Thomas’s great love, Stormy Llewelyn. I adore our stormy sister in all her forms in fact I love all things feminine, the wonderful other, from my mostly masculine perspective. I started out this adventure quite distracted and obsessed with my mother, her sisters, lady aunts, girl cousins, my one living grandma, Lilly, and all the pretty girls of every age. For all of the changes along my journey that has stayed pretty constant. The war between the sexes is as false a myth as the the supposed war in heaven. The Universe is and has always been One and we are smack dab in the middle of it surrounded on all sides by Love. Enjoy, it is what we were created for. It is nobody’s fault.

Your friend and fellow traveler,

At One with the Universe,

David White
