The Secret To Health, Wealth, And Happiness

This thought came to me this morning while I was preparing to shave, some of my best ideas come like John Lennon sang of life “…when I am busy making other plans.” I had to change my plans and take a moment to write the idea down in its entirely before it moved on as thoughts always do. That is especially good if they are scary or negative thoughts. But this one was not so I wanted to share it it with you:

The secret to health, wealth, and happiness is seeing yourself, everyone,

and everything as beautiful and whole and growing more so everyday in

every way.

I believe all our messes and misunderstandings and the chaotic unfriendly world we often find ourselves in all stem from our failure to do and continue to do the above.

We are so busy finding fault with ourselves and others, judging, condemning, and bad and poor mouthing that we do not see what is right in front of our noses, what one side of the medallion I carry in my pocket says so well, “ I am holy, I am whole.” The other side, in case you are curious, reads, “Thank you for this day, Spirit.” That is another good thought to keep in mind and to even say out loud throughout the day. Our thoughts and our words create the world around us.

Do yo ever hear yourself thinking and saying?

“I am healthy.”

“I am attractive.”

“I am wealthy.”

“…and getting more so every day, in every way.”

“…and so is everyone and everything I see around me.”

If not, just start thinking that way and talking that way and watch it become so. I am not talking out of my hat here, but from personal experience. I hear people saying all the time, “My life is not what I want it to be but it is gonna get better when … something happens.” But it never seems to happen for them. I used to see my life like that till I started to change my thoughts and the words that I hear myself say. You see, health, wealth, and happiness DO NOT depend on what happens just on what you think and what you say.

I love my life, I love my world, myself, and everybody. Speaking of bodies I was looking at mine in a full length mirror that I bought to hang on my motel room bathroom door. The mirror over the lavatory is so high that I can only see my face. Anyway before shaving I looked at my body, an old habit first thing I noticed was that I am a little soft around the middle, but I caught that thought and the words before they came out and instead thought and said aloud:

“The secret to health, wealth, and happiness is seeing yourself, everyone, and everything as beautiful and whole and growing more so everyday in every way.”

That is, I believe, the secret to health, wealth, and happiness and a more wonderful and beautiful you, world, everyone, everything, every day, and in every way.

It means, “ I Love You” and I do.
