Unlimited Resources

Have you every wondered what you would do or what your life would be like if you had unlimited resources? Well, wonder no more for I am hear to tell you that the Rothschild, Bilderback, Rockefeller, Gates, or Trumps resources are limited and are nothing compared to the account that you and I have to draw against. I have had the recurring thought for some time now that I am so grateful that everything that I could ever want or need is already mine and coming to me at just the right time and in just the right was from my loving and infinite Source. Infinite, now there is a word that it is sometimes difficult for us to get our hearts and minds around. I heard a fellow try to explain what “More than a conqueror” meant once and what he said about that applies to unlimited or infinite resources. He said it was like whipping every opponent and still having enough strength left to whip more even though there were none left to defeat.

I like to express things positively. Puny little ego is a negative cuss and prefers to put a negative spin on everything. Like the gasoline companies when they are looking to raise the price of gas at the pumps one of ego’s biggest lies is “Shortage.” The Universe shouts all around us “Abundance” and still ego would have us think shortage, not enough to go around, better cheat, steal, do whatever it takes to see that me and mine have enough. Just where does this “me and mine” term come from anyway? It is ole lying ego again using one of his/her favorite tactics called divide and conquer. The words to a love song, always my favorite, come to mind, “United we stand  divided we fall. And if our backs should ever be against the wall we’ll be together, you and I.” I love the U.S. but I love the little u and s even more – us. There is no them only us for indeed if God be for us who can be against us? That is a rhetorical question which means that the answer is obvious. There is only us, the true trinity – you, and me, and God. Once we realize Who we really are, that we are all One in the same, there will not only be peace on earth but plenty. And as the saying goes plenty is as good as a feast.

One of my favorite parts of The Prodigal Son story is where the rich man’s son is feeding himself on pig food and even then not getting enough and “comes to himself,” remembers who and who’s he really is, and goes home to a feast that has been long awaiting his return. A dear friend said to me that she and I live in different worlds when it comes to finances. If you are continually worried about you last dime don’t you think it is high time that you remembered just who and who’s you truly are. God has no step children or unacknowledged children. As the ole saying goes He/She owns the cattle on a thousand hills and we can all draw upon those unlimited resources.

Your friend and fellow traveler,
David White
