The Key To The Treasure House

I get a daily Note From The Universe emailed to me every week day. Mike Dooley is the author of these notes and I believe he does a great service sending out positive, uplifting notes to all on his mailing list. I recommend that everyone sign up for these free inspirational reminders of how much the Universe loves and cares for each one of us. You fill out a little profile, no identity theft information, just your name, your email address, birthday, and what you want most in life. Mike has some kind of program that incorporates these few pieces into the daily notes to make them seem more personally directed to you. You will find it uncany how these notes, usually only a line or two, speak right to where you are in your journey.

Some years back I revised my profile to say that I wanted the keys to the treasure house and to write, uplifting words, thoughts, and songs or something along those lines. In this blog, that is what I aim at doing every day. And as for the keys to the treasure house I think I have found one of the most important ones – Gratitude.

Gratitude unlocks the store house of heaven. The key to getting everything you could ever want is not begging for it or even working hard for it, it is being grateful for what you have and everything that comes to you. To see the gift in everything is to have your eyes, your heart, and your hands truly opened to receive the best that life, that love, that the Universe has to offer. It is like having your cup filled to overflowing where you hear yourself saying, “Woa, that’s enough.” You will have to drink it and share it with as many as you can to make room for the flow to continue in and through your life. It is a great key or lesson in life, breathe in, breathe out, wax on wax off, you Karate Kid you.

It is the hope of the heart of the Universe to open each of us up to be channels through which His/Her love can flow out to each and all. In a previous blog I wrote, “You were created to be loved.” The natural response to being loved is to love. I am glad and grateful for “This unspeakable gift” to me and through me. One of the greatest feeling in the world is to feel love flowing to you and through you. And you thought that was just air you were breathing.

Breathe deeply, hold it, and let it flow, as our exhales cause the grass and trees to grow, love causes all around us to grow. Be glad and be grateful and watch eternal spring burst into bloom around you. Just turn the key and open the treasure house door.
