The Quest For The Holy Grail
The holy grail is many different things to different people. For some it is a person to others a treasure. For some it is knowledge for others a secret unfulfilled longing from their youth. Many the person that has spent their entire life on this holy quest for the grail, the one thing without which they believe they will never be complete or whole.
When we see ourselves as incomplete we have a vision problem. Many of us grew up with this erroneous picture of who were are – that we are lacking in some way, that we need someone else or something else to complete us. This notion of “better half” or “soul mate” is a misunderstanding of our true nature. We were made in the image of our Creator an entity whole, complete, and entire in Himself. Even the two that theologians argue are equal parts of a triune God, the Son and the Spirit, are extentions of His Oneness as are we and the entire Universe.
To seek for a holy grail is to believe there is something lost, something missing and my friends I am here to tell you that neither of those conditions exist. To those individuals who see themselves so needy that they must continually talk about how they just could not live without _______ be aware that you are challenging God, the Universe, to prove to you that you can. Only He can satisfy but rest assured He is not lost or missing but a part of you and you of Him. One need not search to find God or themselves merely look into your own heart or that of another and you will find both for He, we, they are One.
You cannot choose for others how they will live this adventure. You can walk with them if they are willing but you cannot choose their path, only your own. Sometime it may seem you walk alone but that too is never true, for God walks with you. The Quest for the Grail was just a story like so many others to help you find the One True Treasure in this life – the knowledge that the One you have been looking for all your life has been looking for you and is you. For indeed God is all in all.

Great blog! It is so true and sad that some spend all their life searching that is right in front of them. You know, more than most, that we have to love ourselves and do not have the search outside ourselves to find true happiness.
